Gays illegal in Tennessee?

So I heard that in Tennessee there was a law passed that talking or bringing up homosexuality to kids in 8th grade and lower is illegal.
It seems like a load of shit to me so I just wanted to make sure.
This is bullshit right?

See I thought it was bullshit, because it seemed ridiculous and stupid to do something like that. I guess I was wrong.

its just a bill. i thought it was law already as much as i hear it talked about, but its not yet.
