I much prefer this, although it is rare to meet someone who knows of this band.

Thank you. And you finally called me a chick instead of thinking that I am a guy.
Yay!!

Kitten: There is a difference between doing what your told and doing something different. The radio and record industries are definitely not trying to get "new" music signed. They want shit they call sell to 14-17 year old girls. That's how the corporate cycle works. They sell it to that demographic, its emulated by the older girls because the guys start liking that look-sound-package. Its always a music trend, a style of mass-marketed clothes, and some crappy pop culture movement (boy bands, emo, twilight, whatever). Thats what corporate America works. I'm amazed bands and musicians pushing it still make it at all. For every Jack White or Outkast that makes it huge doing what they wanna do... there are about 50 Vampire Weekend or Nicklebacks. Most of the talented bands are at least able to make a living nowadays as the younger generations are catching on they are getting fucking played and the older generations are admitting they gotta shell out cash instead of stealing albums online if they want their fav bands to keep moving.

I know what it is and I know what they do but it's freaking pathetic that you can barely find anyone who will march to their own tune. I agree now you have to dish out money to keep the good bands going but the thing is not many people can dish out a lot and that's the problem. They fucked up the economy and now they fucking us over in music. I wouldn't have a problem with the shit they sold if they wouldn't ruin everything they touch. They like our shit but then call us the freaks and weirdos so stop biting off of what I do, what I wear, and how I carry myself and do your own thing. Most of the times I hate shit because everyone else likes it. Like freaking twilight before it came out I started reading it wasn't so bad, the moment everyone started with this Jacob or Edward shit I wanted to burn it. Besides that half the things they market to these younger generations teach them nothing good and every time I turn around I feel bad for myself when I get old knowing these are the morons that will one day lead us. Society may have favorites but that doesn't mean everything they favor is the way to go, otherwise we wouldn't have sex shops or all the different sexualities there are today.

Ah yes I remember when you asked for twilight books for your birthday.

Yeah I always ask for a good book when it comes to presents but most of the time my family doesn;t listen and they buy me stuff I don't always like but I keep it cause it was a gift from my fam and there is no receipt. Really if they just bought me the books I want I'd always be happy.

So question since you now work in a sex toy shop you still want me to give you a dildo or vibrator for your birthday?

The real answer is this enjoy What you like because you like it. Not because other people like it or don't. Ultimately if it sounds good it is good. Other the radio that gets played at work, I dont listen to radio stations aside from talk radio. In the car its iPod or CDs. Sometimes I listen to Live FM or pandora when I want to find some new music, and both do well to tailor to my musical tastes
